Low Rate No Frills Credit Card
TFCU began running an ongoing promotion starting November 1, 2018 for New and Existing Visa credit cardholders.
NEW credit card accounts opened on or after November 1, 2018 will receive the following promotion:
Annual Percentage Rate (APR): 2.99% APR on Purchases for 12 billing cycles from the initial transaction.
Excludes Cash Advances
NEW & EXISTING credit card accounts will receive the following promotion:
Annual Percentage Rate (APR): 2.99% APR on Balance Transfers
Term: 12 billing cycles for each transaction.
Minimum of $1,000.00
No Balance Transfer Fee
Balance Transfers can be submitted in the branch, over the phone with Customer Service at 855-462-5880, and the credit card website in online banking.
Excludes Student, Share Secured, and Business cards
Excludes Statement checks and Convenience checks
Card does NOT need to be activated in order to complete a Balance Transfer

When the promotional period ends, any new or outstanding Purchases will revert to the Standard APR for that card type, which is currently: Platinum 9.96%, Classic 12.84%, No Frills 9.84%. All other terms and conditions are the same.
They will accept balances transfers that are an aggregate of $1,000 as long as they are submitted in one transaction.
Visa Classic No Frills Card
The TFCU Visa Classic No Frills Option is ideal for people who carry a balance and prefer a “no frills” card. This card will allow you to save with a lower rate and no annual fee.
All applicants must provide proof of regular monthly income (i.e. current paystub) to verify their repayment ability. Applicants 18-21 years old without verifiable repayment ability will require a parent or legal guardian to sign as co-applicant. The parent or legal guardian will be responsible for repayment of the card balance.
