A life membership in The Citadel Alumni Association is the pinnacle of continued support.
The cost of a Lifetime Membership is $700 ($500 for the first year following graduation) can be broken down into five equal payments of $140 due annually from the date of first enrollment. ($100 payments if joining at $500 rate). Life memberships are available only for alumni, junior and senior cadets, veteran students, active duty students and degree-seeking CGC students.
Golden alumni (those who have celebrated their 50-year reunion) may also join at the $500 rate (payable in 5 $100 installments).
Junior and Senior Cadets, CGC students and Active Duty Students can also join CAA at a discounted rate of $400 for a Life Membership.
When payment in full has been made, the Association will:
engrave a personalized 9″x12″ plaque attesting to your membership and support of The Citadel.
publish and mail triannual copies of Alumni News magazine containing features on alumni, news of the college and information on classmates.
give full access to the Association’s Online Community which features the most up-to-date contact information on classmates, Association events and From Within the Ranks Online.
give full access to The Citadel Alumni mobile app.
provide you with a handsome life membership card personalized with your name and class.
afford opportunities for world travel on Association-sponsored, members-only trips.
grant voting privleges in elections for CAA officers and directors and the Board of Visitors. offer services of the Alumni Office including maintenance of alumni records.
provide rental opportunities with substantial savings off regular rates. Paid-in-full Life Members receive a rental discount at the college’s beach club on the Isle of Palms and at the Holliday Alumni Center.
allow use of the outdoor recreational facilities at the college’s Beach Club on the Isle of Palms. You must display your Life Membership card on your dashboard while on the property. Not valid during rental events.

Non-Alumni (friends, widows, parents, retirees, faculty/staff, etc) may also join as associate members. They enjoy all benefits of annual alumni membership except voting and online community access.
Beach Club parking access is not a benefit of Associate or Annual Membership.
