Ashikaga Bank (足利銀行) is a major regional bank in Japan headquartered in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture. Since October 2016, it has been part of Mebuki Financial Group (めぶきフィナンシャルグループ), the third-largest regional banking group in Japan, alongside Joyo Bank.

The official Ashikaga Bank app (version 1.18.1 as of October 2026) provides comprehensive mobile banking:

- Card Loans – Apply for and manage card loans
- Pay-easy – Tax and bill payments
- Card Controls – Stop and restart card usage instantly
- Investment Trust – View portfolio balances and gain/loss, with direct link to investment banking
Transfer Limits and Fees
Default daily transfer limit is ¥500,000, adjustable between ¥0 and ¥2,000,000 in ¥10,000 increments. Transfers to Ashikaga Bank and Joyo Bank accounts are free (as of May 2026).
Security Features
The app includes three layers of security. If you lose your cash card, you can immediately freeze it through the app.

Ashikaga Bank also offers web-based internet banking for transactions including viewing accounts, transfers, and utility bill registration.
Security Warnings
The bank warns customers about voice phishing fraud and unauthorized emails/SMS impersonating Ashikaga Bank. Always download the app from official App Store or Google Play only.
