The information you need to provide to apply for a RUSHCARD, is to provide your Social Security number, date of birth, and your physical mailing address within the U.S.
You can apply for a RushCard if you are not a U.S. Citizen, as long as you are a permanent resident with a valid Social Security number.

In order to activate your RUSHCARD, you’ll receive your RushCard in the mail in 5–7 business days. Choose a PIN. Enroll in Direct Deposit or load cash at a retail location near you. Then download the RushCard App and set up your secure login.
RushCard has partnered with MetaBank and Visa to offer the card. It offers point-of-sale purchases, ATM access, direct deposit, and all the features of a bank debit card.

Text “BAL XXXX” to 47874 (IRUSH). XXXX is the last 4 digits of your card number.
They will send back a text message with your available balance.
If you add 47874 (IRUSH) to your contacts, you won’t have to remember the short code next time.
