Alpine Bancorporation, Inc. was acquired by Midland States Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: MSBI) on February 28, 2018. Alpine Bank & Trust Co. is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Midland.
What Happened
Midland States Bancorp completed its acquisition of Alpine Bancorporation, the parent company of Alpine Bank & Trust Co., based in Belvidere, Illinois. The transaction brought Midland’s total assets to approximately $5.7 billion and expanded its Wealth Management group to more than $3.1 billion in assets under administration.
