Air Belgium Login

Welcome to all reading this in the official thread for Belgium Virtual Airlines, I am Baptiste Desmet, the proud chairman and founder of this new Belgian virtual airline. The company, founded in 2016, is a Belgian scheduled and charter aviation company, with its headquarters at Mont-Saint-Guibert and its main hub at the Charleroi airport south of Brussels. On 30 January 2021, the airline established in 2016 announced it would begin flying cargo flights on board four Airbus A330-200Fs based at Liege Airport, on behalf of French shipping giant CMA CGM, who is purchasing the aircraft frames and has contracted Air Belgium to fly them.

Air Belgium is expanding its service to the Caribbean region, starting flights from Charleroi airport in Brussels to Curacao, via Fort-de-France Airport in Martinique. With airlines from Brussels being grounded because of coronavirus, this may be an ideal time for Air Belgium to explore starting flights to a variety of American destinations. After starting flights to the French Antilles in December 2019, offering the Netherlands Antilles is the logical next step for Air Belgium.

Air Belgium could even aim to establish itself as the leading Belgian airline, though at present, the airline is far more leisure-oriented than business-oriented. Air Belgiums is, is expanding its fleet in order to allow for the introduction of new routes in South Africa, Johannesburg and Cape Town being the carriers only routes to mainland Africa. The City of Cape Town and the Western Cape welcomed Air Belgiums plans for scheduling two flights per week to Cape Town: a direct one, and the Brussels-Johannesburg-Cape Town triangular in September.

Air Belgium plans to operate twice weekly flights between Brussels and Port Louis; however, Air Belgium will not use Charleroi Airport (CRS), to the south of Brussels, for those flights. According to SimplyFlying, Air Belgium will fly routes that are currently unserved by Brussels Airlines. The move to Belgiums leisure market could provide Air Belgium with the power to challenge unwieldy flag carrier Brussels Airlines, eventually usurping that carriers spot as Belgiums national carrier.

You would be able to create fantastic vacation plans every year just using a frequent flier card with Brussels Airlines. You might not get the same rewards you would with frequent flier cards if you are flying in Europe via a direct flight, but you will still earn miles toward a free ticket or reimbursement for expenses.

Many cards even provide bonus points or other rewards for using points toward flights tickets or other purchases. Some cards offer frequent flyer bonuses, which are free airline miles or reimbursed airline travel insurance, when you use their cards.

Their frequent flyer programs are redeemable at any Brussels Airlines terminal, or any JetBlue or American Airlines flights. To find out if you are eligible for one of these cards, please contact Brussels Airlines customer service.

If you book via the Miles & More site, you can often obtain one of their Comfort Plus or Club Airline cards. Most cards do not award bonus points or airline miles if you only purchase a single flight, but if you are flying frequently, it may be a better deal for you.

When you purchase plane tickets from Brussels Airlines with a card, you will receive 2 bonus miles worth of miles. You earn miles whenever you use your Card for purchases, including cash, checks, plane tickets, and when you pay for goods using your Credit & Debit card, including petrol. I was hoping that the fares on the #1 were lower, but in the end, it is the price I am willing to pay for trying out a new airline.

Air Belgium has used the past weeks to focus on developing new destinations, and also to grow our fleet with a successful start-up in cargo operations, which will compliment our main operations. Yesterday, I wrote how Air Belgium would begin selling tickets today for its flights between Brussels and Hong Kong, which they are set to start flying from Brussels-Hong Kong on 30 April 2018. To give greater flexibility for travellers that might have to change their dates, Air Belgium is happy to confirm that Air Belgium will not interrupt its scheduled flights to Fort-de-France in the months of September and October 2021.

They are obviously targeting travel groups, although I am not sure how the airline could make a profit by targeting these customers while flying quite inefficient planes, particularly given the extent of Chinese carriers expansion, where most operate their long-haul flights at a loss. Chinese logistics giant Hongyuan has taken 49% stakes in Air Belgium, thanks to a EUR19.3m equity raise, but most shares are still in Belgian hands (Air Belgiums CEO, Nicky Turzakis, himself, the Walloon state-owned vehicles Sogepa and SRIW, federal private-equity company FPIM, and Sabena Aerospace). The first plane (registered 9H-HOP) was sold in 2020, then converted to cargo, now operated by Airhub Airlines.

All information collected is intended for Air Transat, data controller, to process your reservation or membership to our newsletters and/or programs. This check is designed to understand your capability of conducting your flight in a airport that has ATC on site, being able to answer all broadcasts with no, or as few, errors as possible. When you are accepted into our VA, first congratulate yourself, but there is one final test to take, and that is the Practical Test, and you will be placed into the hands of a trainer from our academy that will have you take a Practical Test while flying with an ATC.
