The free domestic economy return flights on Virgin Australia are available between select Australian cities only, and are available to booked by American Express Velocity Platinum card members after their first card spending in their first year, then after their first card spending every year thereafter, following their card membership anniversary. American Express Velocity Platinum Card members are entitled to two (2) admissions into an American Express lounge each calendar year (1 January – 31 December). Two single-entry passes into The Virgin Australia lounge The Virgin Australia Lounge will activate annually on a Velocity membership card for basic cardholders at or after the annual card fee renewal date.
All flights are subject to availability, and neither Virgin Australia nor American Express guarantees availability of seats or tickets on a given day or time when you might want to fly. The partnership ends 12 June 2022, and customers booked on codeshare flights after this date will be moved.
